THE RULES
The nine-hole course for the evening is the regulation Pub Golf Malaysia Front Nine of the Changkat Course:
Hole 1: Little Havana
Hole 2: Pincho’s
Hole 3: Finnegan’s
Hole 4: Twenty One
Hole 5: Ceylon Bar
Hole 6: The Social
Hole 7: Nevermine
Hole 8: Frangipani
Hole 9: Little Havana
Prize-Giving / Clubhouse: Little Havana
Each hole will have its own drink, with its own par value.
The par value means how many sips you must finish the drink in. i.e. A beer has a par value of 4, so you have to finish the drink in 4 sips in order to maintain par. If you drink it in 3 sips, you are one UNDER par. If you drink it in 5 sips, then you are one OVER par, and so on.
Basically the less sips you take, the better your score.
Teams
Players will form TEAMS of two.
Two teams will be paired together to form a FLIGHT of four.
Teams CAN be unisex just like washrooms on an airplane.
Scorecards
Each player will carry their own Pub Golf Malaysia Scorecard in which to record their score after the hole is completed.
To keep things honest, you also have to record the score of a member of the other Team within your Flight.
Remember, the other team WILL cheat. It’s up to you to make sure that all that is good with the world stays that way.
Drink Substitution
You are allowed ONE drink substitution over the 9 holes, but it comes with a THREE STROKE PENALTY!
Please inform the Tournament Referee of your decision to drink substitute (you wuss).
You will have to pay for this drink by cash. Your friends may make fun of you.
Drinking Bracelets of Power
Only Players with the official Pub Golf Malaysia Drinking Bracelets of Power will be served regulation alcohol.
Winner’s Trophies
There will be Winner’s Trophies for:
- Gentlemen’s Champion
- Ladies’ Champion
- Best Dressed
- Most Full-of-Shit
